A personal achievement of mine was riding for 28 kilometres up a Fujian mountain. It was honestly one of the hardest things I have ever done, as In New Zealand I was just used to riding up tiny hills. Overall it took me about 2 ½ hours, that was one of the times that I was so thankful for having lunch, haha. At one point I was so tired that I did a little skid on my bike and it felt like I had just been woken up. Although it was so hard I absolutely loved mostly every minute of it. The view was so beautiful and on the lucky parts, when we rode downhill the fresh, crisp morning air was so calming. My favourite part was when we got to bike through a little old mountain village, it was just something I have never seen before, it felt like I was in a picture of olden day China.
